iPhone SE 2020 launches amid Covid-19 Pandemic

Apple introduced iPhone SE to the world, last week. It is available for pre-order from 17^th of April, while official release date – shipping date- is set for April 24^th, Friday. It is latest low-cost iPhone SE with selling price of only $399 for 64 GB version. There will also be available in 128GB and 256GB for $449 and $549, respectively.

iPhone SE is like iPhone 8, but it has modern specifications. It has the shape and look of iPhone 8, so it has 4.7-inch screen, large borders on top and bottom of screen, with a home button that will have touch ID.

It is safe to say that iPhone SE is basically iPhone 8 but has better camera and processor, and more in the price range of common people. It has Apple’s A13 bionic chip, like in iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro variations.

Due to the better processor, iPhone SE comes with exciting new camera features. It has one 12-megapixel camera on the back with a flash. Apple also claims that its new chip enables the camera to have better HDR photography by taking multiple shots and then merging them into a single picture for better details and lightening.

Apple releasing a phone during a pandemic might make you think it is not going to do them much business, but that is where Apple’s lower-cost strategy comes in. Introducing a phone that has touch ID instead of face ID because how people are wearing masks, to be safe from pandemic. Under these circumstances, Face ID would be rendered useless. Also, Lower costing phone with same processor as iPhone 11 and 11 Pro variations, will make it in the reach of common people as well.
